NTPC Green Energy Limited Signs MoU with Bharat Light and Power Private Limited for Green Hydrogen Project

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Light and Power Private Limited (BLP) on 19th February 2025. The MoU aims to jointly explore the off-take of green hydrogen and its derivatives from NGEL and its affiliates to third parties, in line with the Government of India's efforts towards a carbon-neutral economy. This partnership will also look into selling captured carbon or biogenic carbon from NGEL, while setting up the necessary infrastructure for the project. NGEL's compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 was disclosed through a press release on 20th February 2025.
